Girls Youth & Middle School Travel Teams
The Team NorCal Lacrosse girls’ program is producing championship teams at the 12U and 14U levels. Since our debut for Girls Teams in 2015, the program has continued to grow and be successful The program has earned the reputation as one of the elite programs in Northern California. It is directed by Colleen Niklaus, a former standout college player at UC Davis. Before joining the Team NorCal family, Colleen was the Head Coach for the Girls’ program at St.Ignatius College Preparatory where she led the Varsity team to four consecutive regional and state championships. After that, she started the girls' side of Santa Cruz Warriors rec club, as well as later the league champions Scotts Valley HS team.
The experienced Team NorCal coaching staff places a strong focus on fundamentals and teamwork ensuring players learn to compete, excel and win lacrosse at a high level. Coaches prioritize building strong relationships with each player, crafting individual plans for improvement and development.
Girls Youth & Middle School Travel Teams Program Overview
Due to our success, we continue to grow and are forming more teams every year, participating in highly competitive tournaments such as the Oregon Lacrosse Classic, GoldRush and Grapevine Classics, Santa Barbara Fall Brawl, and Sandstorm Lacrosse Festival, the premier winter tournament on the West Coast, drawing teams from all over the western United States. Each one of these tournaments offers excellent competition and a quality venue to test players’ individual and team skills.
