Shannon Myers brings over a decade of lacrosse experience to the field as both a player and coach. A standout low defender, she earned All-State honors in Michigan for her defensive play and developed a strong foundation in leadership, teamwork, and game strategy. Since transitioning into coaching, Shannon has spent four years helping athletes grow their skills and confidence, including coaching at Brighton High School. During her coaching tenure, her teams won three Michigan state championships in four seasons.
Shannon recently graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Secondary Education – English, combining her passion for education with her commitment to mentoring young athletes. She believes in developing not only strong lacrosse players, but also confident, resilient leaders both on and off the field.
Outside of coaching, Shannon enjoys staying active through running, hiking, and yoga. She values perseverance, discipline, and a growth mindset—qualities she strives to instill in every athlete she coaches. In her free time, she can often be found exploring new trails, spending time outdoors, or curled up with a good book.
